In this standard, you must produce a written report detailing the physics behind a real-world object, system, or technology. 

It is not just describing an application, the report MUST Connect Physics Theory to application

 i.e. You have to explain exactly how the physics principles apply to your selected context. 

For example, if you chose LEDs, you must explain how an electron's energy relates to the frequency and colour of light emitted from the formula (E = hf). 

Your chosen topic should be an application involving Atomic and Nuclear Physics and your class teacher will outline some suggestions to help you get started . . .
