I always like to be able to see the entire school year at a glance so I created both an Excel file and a Word file with highlights for regents weeks, holidays, school breaks, PD days, and parent teacher conference days. Both are available at my store by clicking the links above or clicking "Store" in the drop down menu on the "Teacher" tab above.
You will get the actual Excel or Word files, not a .Pdf so you can edit the colors if you don't like the ones I have. The Excel has two sheets:
Sheet 1: School Year split up by marking periods according to our school in NYC.
Sheet 2: School Year split up by month.
This new school year's resolution: Keep track of all of my per session.
Problem: I always tend to scribble down calculations for how many hours I worked and then I lose them. Plus, it always takes me a minute or two to remember how much per session is or to look it up on the internet.
Solution: I created a spreadsheet where I enter Time IN and Time OUT and it calculates how many hours I worked and multiplies it with the New York City per session rate. An example is to the left.
I made a little instruction handout where you can adjust the rate.
If you are interested in purchasing this spreadsheet, you can visit my teacher store on the website Teacherspayteachers.com: Teacher Resources: Excel Spreadsheet to calcuate Per Session
